Fitness in the Timeless Void

Ahoy, it's tabata anon from a ... while? ago (time has lost all meaning; working from home but it's weird and sporadic with nothing remotely resembling regular hours). Still keeping up with it, still mostly happy. Muscles have stopped being mad at me and I find it much easier to get through a session than I did when I started. Only slight snag is a bit of joint pain in one leg - from the remote advice of my more experienced fit friends it seems I've been landing wrong, so I'll have to adjust that.
Anyone else using the downtime at home for a new fitness regimen? What're you doing and how's that going for you?

I've been trying to lift hand weights for 15 minutes every day or two to the video someone had posted up here a while ago - bit achy but I think I'm getting the hang of it so far.

I'm trying to go on long walks every day (with a mask on, of course). Then it rained for a week and a half and I kinda lost the motivation to go out, but I'm gonna try to start walking again tomorrow.

Peloton has the app free for 90 days - I've been doing at least one short exercise a night on top of some bike work in the day.

My current weekly routine is two days of yoga, two days of running, and two days of strength training, with one rest day, and walking in the evenings for about an hour. I can mix it up however I like, but I prefer a run, strength, yoga pattern, as yoga has been feeling great the day after strength training. I've been eating and sleeping better too, go me!

Darebee, seriously it has fitness plans, difficulty levels, optional equipment routines, and specification for trouble area/charts. It's perfect, I recommend it to everyone!

Clearly the IRS wants to make this as difficult as possible. Went to the website for the stimulus payment. Filled in all my identifying info. Got the message "Status not available."

Went to the frequently asked questions page. They had a list of reasons why that message might appear. Only none of those reasons apply to me. I am eligible for a payment.I filled out my 2018 taxes. I'm not on any sort of government benefits.

Of course they have no contact information or any other possible answers.

So I have no way of finding out why my status isn't available. No way of knowing what is wrong or how to correct it. So now I'm freaking out that I'm not going to get that money. And since I was planning on using it to pay this year's taxes, this would be a problem.

I should know better than to pay attention to stupid Facebook crap but WTF is up with people claiming to be "empaths"?? They're not claiming psychic powers, as far as I can figure. They're claiming to be super sensitive to other peoples' feelings and moods and therefore veeeeery special people and I'm like... good for you? IDK. I'd be more impressed by this claim if it weren't consistently posted by some of the most self-centered people I know.

I'm trying really hard to be positive, but it's hard. It's very unlikely that I'm going to be able to keep my job when this is all over (it's a small business and there's a high chance they won't be able to reopen) but my boss said when I talked to her earlier "let's see what happens" and I'm just really, really hoping that somehow it all works out.

Neighbors have been cutting grass/doing landscaping/IDK what using really loud machines of some kind for the past couple hours and the noise is getting on my nerves.

Also went grocery shopping earlier for the first time in a couple weeks and it stressed me out. I wore a mask, and most of the people in the store did, but there were a handful who didn't ("coincidentally" most of them were wearing MAGA crap) and kept coming too close to me and I wanted to tell them to back the fuck away but didn't want to cause any drama.

IDK, I just feel a lot of anxiety in general and am trying not to freak out. I also haven't eaten anything since yesterday so I might feel better if I get some food. (For some reason I've had very little appetite since this whole thing started and I don't get it since usually I'm the type to eat all the things when I'm stressed out.)

I honestly dont know whats keeping me alive right now. I taint everyone i try to keep company with, even online; i feel so inherently bad at my core in a way that i fear not even cbts gonna fix. I didnt belong even before quarantine, not really, and its just reinforcing that i deserve to be alone.

that hurts.

Unemployment is a nightmare. I applied weeks ago. It's impossible to get help.
I haven't received the stimulus check either. I've got way too many bills and no money.

I always pick up my prescriptions in person at CVS because it’s like a 7-minute walk from where I live and it’s on the way to/from work (which doesn’t apply right now, but it’s always been part of the reason). Since for once I’m actually being encouraged to stay inside and have things delivered, though, I finally tried ordering online. They sent me the wrong fucking medication. That does it. I’m fucking mad and I’m out of one of my meds and will be out of it for at least another couple days, IF they’re able to fix the problem in their shitty computer system when I call them tomorrow (and that’s another thing — I called earlier, because I know their hours, and the pharmacy should have been fucking open, but it wasn’t and now I’m impatient as well as pissed).

I'm gonna have the opposite stimulus check complaint from everyone else. I work at bank. No, we do not know when you'll get your check. No, we don't know why you didn't get your check. Yes, we know the line is long, everyone wants to get their money. No, we're not opening up the fucking lobby it's a fucking pandemic. Yes, it does suck that your check went into a closed account and I'm sorry we may not be able to re-route it and you'll have to go back to the IRS but that is not our fault. No, we did not "give" the IRS the wrong account number, you didn't inform them that it had changed (and yes, the government did a terrible job at communicating this. But we, the front line bank workers, cannot help that and screaming at me about how you need your money now will not get you your money any faster, and it makes me much less inclined to try and see if I can get my higher ups to do anything).

Also no, we can't tell you if your PPP loan was accepted, the SBA is in charge of that. Yes, we do expect you to have a business account in order to apply and no, that is not 'ridiculous,' these are intended for businesses and we do need some actual proof that you have a business and will be using this for business.

And for fuck's sake, if you don't need something now stop calling and complaining about how you can't come into the lobby. You want to deposit rolled coin? Unless that's the money you need to pay your rent, wait until the fucking pandemic is over please. You can open an account online, please stop trying to endanger us workers and our families because you "just want a personal touch." No, we're not opening the lobby for you because you "just don't like" the drive thru.

Horizon Zero Dawn Progress

Well boys and girls, I just finished the last trophy on Horizon Zero Dawn.

Whole game finished on the hardest difficulty setting! Woo! I am accomplishment!

But more importantly I am finally done with this depressing ass game!

I'm being unfair. It's a great game. But the bleakness of it got to me bad about half way through playing the main story. I was like "Too depressing, Don't want to play this anymore." Then I had the rest of the story. The rest of the side quests. The DLC (I did like the snow, I admit). and a wholeass nother play through on Ultra hard! Now I'm finally done.

So when someone tells you Wako doesn't get shit done. Wako can't finish what he starts. Wako lets his depression take control and quits because he gets too sad... you tell that fucking punk he is full of shit!

Favorite & least favorite series finales
