140. I LOVED the first movie, and while I did enjoy watching the rest of the series...I felt that this would have been better left as a single movie. I feel that the rest of the movies, as far as storyline goes, ruins it. The 4th movie left me confused, too. So now I just...watch it for the gore and traps. :\

143. If they are buying plastic ponies manufactured (and considered to be in the official canon) by Hasbro, that have 'My Little Pony' printed on the box, but you don't think they're 'real My Little Pony collectors', then can you please tell me what the fuck they ARE collecting?

I don't know how to put this. What they are buying and collecting are My Little Ponies. Just because you think they are less important or whatever because they are not the original doesn't change the fact that what they are collecting are fucking MY LITTLE PONIES.

102. For me it kind of depends on how obvious it is. If someone actually uses the name of a character, I'll probably roll my eyes. However, if it's something less obvious like mine (del~~irium~~ + ~~mor~~feus) I probably won't even recognize it. What bothers me more than silly names is actually changing the names for any reason. It's a pain trying to remember to associate the new names with people I knew by something else before, especially when they are not people I talk to all the time online. I've got several people on my flist of whom I don't always remember who they are because they changed their names almost at the same time. It's really annoying. Also, keep in mind that it's possible that they've had that name for years and would not name themselves something like that now; one of my e-mails has "draven" in it (as in Eric Draven from The Crow), which is kind of embarrassing because people don't know that I've had that e-mail address for over 10 years.

108. I think i understand how you feel, especially the bit about feeling less mature about shipping something new. I don't want to say I've "matured" from yaoi, because I'm still into it.. but, I'm definitely not into it as I use to be, especially when I got into my first romantic relationship. I mean, yaoi makes me feel giddy, but i think that's the only point of it in the end.

172: Have you commented on their posts, though? It can be easy to miss a post, especially if you rarely update. You might also want to consider that many people take long breaks from lj/online fandoms and other people don't really think much about it. I've had periods where I haven't been on lj for long periods of time. When I come back, I comment on everyone's journals and people are always happy to see me.

To be honest, I'm a little more concerned that your boyfriend is telling you that people don't really care about you.

I'm baffled by the idea that you have to grow out of liking slash. I mean, no one says you have to grow out of liking het, right? So what's wrong with continuing to like slash?

As someone else said, it's not what you enjoy but how you behave that determines your maturity level.

Since there are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many people in the DBSK fandom,
and 78% of those people are immature and crazy, it's just normal for
people to think that ALL of their fans are immature and crazy.

But of course, they're wrong. THERE ARE sane DBSK fans.
Sometimes, I almost feel embarrassed to tell people that I am a DBSK fan,
because I know they will just label me......but whatever.

That's just the burden that comes with being a DBSK fan I guess.
