You can never have too many pairs of Chucks. XD My latest are purple. And a green and tan pair with two sets of laces. I have a black pair, a red pair and a camouflaged pair from back when they were still made in the US. I starting wearing Chucks because of Howling Mad Murdock. Damn I feel old. ;)

:P I made SURE I got a pair of Red HiTops. Took SO long to find them in my size but I wear them every day, along with a Dalek pin on my lapel at work, so a lucky few will see the reference.

(I also have some navy low tops with chirimen shoelaces, some green tartan ones, with star laces and some samuel morse Tiger hitops.)

If someone is making a point that makes sense to you, consider it, but the people who think they're too good to squee are people who think that they lose their power if they say "yes" to something, so all they do is say no. Of course, no one squees all the time, but for some of us the non-squee happens offline—or, we just don't discuss what we don't like.

The UK Office had the romance, but it was not acted out on until the very, very end. The US one does the same, but kept on going after the point in the story where the UK one ended, so did its own thing. The bit with Michael having a relationship with his boss, THAT is definitely not in the original.
