114 - People are allowed to write what they like, and god knows sometimes I'm desperate to read some epic genfic. Sometimes it just so happens that the ideas would be perfectly suited for a fandom that they're fond of, and I don't see the problem with that. Plus there's the fact that in some bigger fandoms, that fanfic you seem to resent actually gets published (see all those Star Trek and Doctor Who novels, which as far as I'm concerned are totally fanfic)

141 - You know, if you ever find something you love, pray that it's actually something decent, I'll be glad for you as long as you don't turn out like her. The fact that she actually goes and posts her reactions on youtube makes it seem like she has no self-respect or sense of dignity. Some of the currently unfinished ones I still look forward to updates from the author. Fanfiction can be really good and meaningful just as it can be really bad and cracktastic.
