upon rethinking my word choice, perhaps 'preachy' wasn't exactly what i meant. my problem with the movie (and i'm having a hard time articulating what it is specifically that i dislike, so please excuse any confusion) is that it spends so much time telling the viewer what to think. i dislike this for two reasons. first of all, because when dealing with such universal subject matter (as in, not limited to this single situation), simply repeating your opinion over and over as if it were fact is not a valid argument. and secondly, because i feel like all of the conclusions that ARE supposed to be drawn ARE limited to the situation portrayed in the movie, which in itself is rife with holes and ridiculousness. overall, one needs to be SHOWN why such an opinion (in this case: that true evil cannot be unlearned) should be taken, not TOLD, with examples that lie in the midst of a silly, fictional story.

i really hope this comes across correctly.

I've always suppose they'll fall apart because of the mortal/immortal thing (Ianto will either be killed or die old and resent Jack), not Gwen, I think they did away with that last season with the wedding and all.

I'm not quite sure what to make of House/Cuddy, they haven't really done anything with it in the last 2 episodes, and now that Cuddy is keeping the baby I have doubts about them working because I can't see House with a baby.

107. Because they are "zombie movies". 'Worldwide' apocalypse due to a disease/curse/magic/technology that turns most of the population into mindless killing/eating machines is a zombie movie. Yes they are people suffering from a terrible disease and not actually zombies, but it's still a "zombie film".

140 - No, i hear you. All the stuff from season 4, I've been very 'meh' about. I think they just wanted an excuse to bring Jane Lynch back. It's surprising, but as much of a Reid fangirl as I am, I wish they would focus more on the other characters. I need some Prentiss backstory. I like my Reid to have occasional focus eps making him fucked up and crazy but mostly I like to see him put together bits of information no one else can. Yay, geniuses.

And ia completely. I love Jane Lynch, but at some point Reid needs to have a little bit of happiness. And I really haven't liked his attitude since 52 Pick Up either. :/ I thought him getting the girl was cute (even tho I didn't like her/the way they met. I think he needs to find someone not related to a case and if they're close to home that would be a big plus) but his attitude since then just hasn't felt Reid-ish to me. I understand that he's growing up, and I'm glad. But if growing up means he becomes a cocky s.o.b. then I don't want it. Let him die a virgin. :(

161. I never understood the hype. As a matter of fact, I watched it and hated it. Nothing is more annoying than fans who just have to claim it`s "OMG BEST ANIME EVAR GAIZ!!!!" Whoever does like it is cool with me, but it`s not the greatest thing to happen in anime. However, that`s just my opinion. >.>
