107. It's supposed to be a movie that reinvents the zombie genre. Have you ever heard of Fido? That does the same exact thing. A genre isn't going to remain the same forever. Also, "undead" doesn't necessarily have to refer to the heart stopping. Their brains are basically dead if you think about it.

Yes I have seen Fido, loved it in fact, but at least the zombies in that movie were dead. The fact is that zombies, by definition, are dead, or undead if you like. Either way they aren't alive like the people in that movie were. And since when does being infected by a virus = being brain dead?

102. Is that Jeff Lyne? I mean, obviously the other one is George. I guess that's not such a weird ship. I mean, there's the whole Traveling Wilburies and all. It's just... the eras are not right. It's Beatle!George and later era Jeff! It hurts my brain! I'm sure your fics would go over well on beatlesslash. XDD I have a far more random and obscure George pairing myself.


152. I agree so much. It was entertaining at times, but none of the characters were really engaging/likable (not to mention they were almost all replaced a few seasons in, wtf, I'm sure THAT was part of the Master Plan too, whatever). I never even managed to get through the whole series. I got a little over half way through S4, which is when everyone was like OMG IT ITS SO GOOD IN S4!!!!1 and um. It didn't. Sigh. It's pretty fucked up when, by S4, the only character I care about is some super minor character that's only in like, every fifth episode.

147. I'm about to get incredibly sentimental, but I also can't stand it when people just say bad things about DisneyWorld. If you don't like it that's another story, but why the mindless 'lol it sucks?' It helped me feel better about my pet dying, it always makes me smile, and I'll never NOT feel happy hugging Mickey. It's a magical place to me because I let it be a magical place. So there.
(I'm upset that they changed MGM Studios name because it can't stand for 'Mickey's Got your Money' anymore. Ha.)

[armchair psychiatrist mode] Maybe you subconciously (or consciously) fear a total loss of emotional control when bad things happen for real, so you hold everything in and maintain your stoic demeanor. Then, when something upsetting, but essentially not so important, happens in fandom you can vent emotionally and it is less embarrassing because you're alone and there's no one there to see you lose control. I dunno what fandoms you've been in, but I have been - though not forced - then certainly tricked into looking at incest against my express wishes.

Apparently, "I know you like incest, but please don't talk about it with me," flies straight out the window when they've got a swank new piece of incestuous non-con art to show off.

(I'm so glad I ditched that particular fandom; holy crap.)

171) Six years ago, man, six years ago. In terms of fandom, that's quite an eternity considering how fast it can change (moreso if you've moved on to newer ones). Maybe you should look at the old things you posted and compare to them to what you post now. The difference is likely huge, and I doubt someone is not going to move on from internet happenings six years ago.

150. I obviously love Sam but I understand where you are coming from. I can't stand fic writers who make her life sound so shitty and then treat it like a joke. I think it's belittling to real people with real problems. Part of why I like her character is that she does genuinely BAD and uncalled for things and is NOT as cool as she thinks she is. That she has this implied terrible life is really interesting. But I think she's exaggerating for effect most of the time. When fic gets all angsty about it I almost always stop reading. She's a LIAR, and an attention whore, and I think a lot of it is bull. Maybe you, OP, are better than me, because the more I go on about this the more I identify with her!

151: A-fucking-men to that! I'm lucky enough that a lot of my friends are so accepting of some of the shit I write in my fics. Over half of my friends aren't into incest, and I ship Elricest like burning. But they don't moan and complain and tell me to write less of it. They respect it. Hell, some of them even read the fics, just because they know I'm a good writer and that they'll like it, regardless of the incest.

101 - That is... awesome. No matter what the reason, teaching yourself to become ambidexterous is awesome... the fact that Vash was your inspiration makes it more awesome.

120 - It made me sad as well. I loved his devotion to his brother no matter how twisted either one of them became. It makes me wish for an AU where they both grew up normally.

147 - This makes me happy inside. I've long loved Disney, and to see someone converted from being a hater to a supporter gives me the fuzzies. Not an actual zombie from the voudou (commonly known as voodoo) religion where one is hit with a neuro-toxin and declared dead and later dug up from his/her grave to work for someone. However 28 days later does not have living dead in it... just a survival horror film.
