Off topic from the secret: M*A*S*H was my favorite show as a kid and all up until high school. It was my first real fandom and Hawkeye/BJ was my first ever "pairing." Before that, I never knew what it meant to "ship" anyone. I loved all the characters (though I have a special place in my heart for Blake). I enjoyed all incarnations. Also, it's my Dad's favorite show off all time so I used to watch it with him. I don't get to see my parents very much anymore, but whenever I'm at their house, my dad and I STILL watch M*A*S*H together. I got to watch it with him over this Thanksgiving break. Also, he and my mom are so much like Hawkeye and Margaret that it's downright creepy yet at the same time awesome, so their lovingly bickering relationship reminds me off family, too. ALSO, the last time I think I saw the finale was the night before I graduated high school. Cried buckets.

Sorry if that was a little saccrine, OP, but thank you for reminding me of this beautiful show. Good luck with your ambition to be a nurse! I'm sure you'll be a great one :)

I definitely know what you mean. Castle's always one of those shows that brings up my spirits too.

It's a bit embarrassing (and maybe secret worthy), but this fall my grandpa passed away. One of the things that I told myself while dealing with his last days emotionally was to "be a BAMF like Beckett," which surprisingly did really help me get through his funeral and everything without being too much of a wreck.

So yeah, I feel a lot of gratitude to Castle as a show. <3

Hey, anime con of my state! I went to AD in 2010, maybe I saw you there ^^

But glad to hear! Even though anime isn't my big thing anymore, I've always enjoyed myself at Anime Detour; this is the first year in a while that I can't go, and I'm kind of sad about it. But yeah, AD's lovely. I haven't been to a big con, but both cons I've been to in Minnesota (AD and CONvergence) have been just great experiences.
