Except that they ARE! One of them owns the person they're having sex with - he can't consent freely because of the extreme amounts of power she has over him - and the other hold the other person *heart* which means that any consent he appears to give cannot be assumed to given freely.

It helps if you can find something that reliably soothes or calms you. For me, listening to some of my favorite music (usually loud, as if to drown out the anxious thoughts my head) or watching silly YouTube videos can help me a lot - it distracts me from my anxious thoughts. Things that are distracting and make you happy can help break the cycle of anxious thoughts, at least for a while. I used to have trouble sleeping too, so at night I often actually left some of the aforementioned silly YouTube videos playing so I could listen to them on my headphones as I went to sleep.

Also, when you're having an anxiety attack, sometimes it can help a little to take a few deep, slow breaths and tell yourself that everything is going to be okay. Don't be afraid to take a little break from whatever you're doing to calm yourself down.

(To the comic in the secret specifically, WTFx2? No male allies? So NO men ever can fight for women's rights or even step back and play a supporting role for equality? REALLY? NONE? I agree there's a lot of societal "be a real man" problems that prevent it sometimes but it's not like it's not possible, and happens often. I love my male feminist friends. WTF. O_o)

A sliver of me actually feels sorry for the kid. The more information that is coming out the more it is looking out that this is a case of big brother manipulating little brother into following his agenda. The kid was fine while big brother was over seas. He was a typical Walking Dead watching, prom going, pot smoking, car obsessed, twitter tweeting, worrying about his grades teenager. Then big brother comes back overseas and this happens.

And if this is case, what type of older brother was he to do this to his younger brother? You are suppose to love and protect your brother not twist him into doing something that will almost guarantee him a death sentence.

I know there are many F!Sers here with siblings. Close siblings. What do you think?

I feel sorry for the victims. I feel sorry for the younger brother if he was manipulated. I don't have one ounce of pity for the older brother. One of the worst brothers in history.
