I'd like to lose 30 more pounds for a goal weight of 160. I lost 70 pounds in 2014 but have been stuck at ~190 for several months. Time to buckle down and work out!

Go back to school and work on getting my degree in broadcasting, finally draw+write at least one original graphic novel (maybe not publish it, but just have it done-in-one), not get involved in any new fandoms next year, continue to pay down debt (so I can move into my own place without a roommate and not worry about keeping up with rent and non-essential/utility bills), and/or start doing more things around town.

Not exclusively in that order, but it's a start.

Kindle tech issues

Has anyone else with a first generation kindle had issues with theirs? Mine is behaving oddly. The way it lists items has gone nuts, varying where the most recently accessed item is placed - either at the top, somewhere in the middle of my 400 item long list, or at the end. I can't figure out what's wrong with it!

Internet addiction?

Hi all. Lately I've been finding myself spending way too freaking much time on the internet and not feeling in control of it...even when I'm unhappy about it or want to do something else, it feels impossible to stop clicking and refreshing. But it feels weird to call internet use an addiction, much less to go to therapy for it or whatever. I don't know.

I have to use my laptop daily for work, including the internet, and it's super frustrating to try to control that click-click-click urge every second that I'm working.

So do you have tips for this? Coping mechanisms or rules? Extensions? I've been looking for a plug-in that will let me program a shut-down time for my internet access, but so far I've only found ones that let you shut off access immediately, not set a time like "block all websites starting at 9pm daily." Any other resources you know of?

Fandom dilemma, looking for advice

I have some really intense stalkers who haven't laid off despite URL changes on tumblr and username changes on LJ and DW. I've been seriously considering making a new identity, since that seems to be the only way to get them to stop trawling through everything I do and harassing me. Reporting doesn't work, nor do callouts. I'm just exhausted by it. It's been a couple years now and I can't deal with it anymore. I tried to ignore it but it just gnaws away at me and kills my motivation to participate in something I used to love.

What I'm wondering is, how do I do this without being shitty to my friends? I don't want to come off like a pseudicide or sockpuppetry. I just want a fresh start. Should I tell my friends about my new usernames? The stalkers have followed me through reblogs from friends before.

Marco Polo (the Netflix Show) POSSIBLE SPOILERS IN THREAD

Has anyone else been watching Marco Polo? I'm only a few episodes in, but I like it so far. I think it has its issues and it's not exactly groundbreaking, but I think it's a fun show and I was actually kind of surprised by how severely its been raked over the coals by critics. It's not that bad. Also, Khutulun and Byamba are super hot together. Does anyone else have any thoughts about it?
