29. COMPLETELY agree. My younger sisters watched this show; I refuse to associate their golden moments of childhood with dumb stuff like sex. It's basically the same as slashing Arthur characters; the only difference is, if you do the latter even more people will think you're insane.

Welcome :) Ah, KH. Other people have SasuNaru vs NaruSasu, we have fans who hate other fans of the same pairing, because in this fandom, you're just not a sane fan unless your ship is too obscure for the plebes or unless you diss those stupid fanbrats who besmirch your pairing at least once a day.

Seconded. I ship pairings for the dynamic! (The buttsex is just an added bonus, and honestly, I like fics without it as much as fics with it.) I'm not a mindless sheep yaoi fangirl because I like ships like Phoenix/Edgeworth or KuroFye. I like them for the dynamic, the impact the characters have on one another, the emotion they show around each other. It really has nothing to do with the buttsex.

And I hate having to say "If X was a girl, would you ship it then?" Partly because often to avoid admitting they would, people sputter and go "Well, X isn't a girl, so it doesn't matter!"

Those aren't cliches, they're conventions. There actually is a difference between the two.

31. I have a few personality traits that people have pointed out as "House-like," and a few people have said that I would be great at writing Housefic. The thing is, a lot of the traits we share are the negative ones- fear of social situations, avoidance of work, not caring about things that are supposed to be important, inability to maintain a stable relationship with anyone. And that scares me sometimes too.

(But I'm still obsessed with the show)

I agree, but this applies to like. Every secret here, not just that pairing. I am tired of "I ship it!", "I don't ship it!", and "I'd hit it!" secrets. XD (Although today is pleasingly free of those.)

Totally. The battle system might not be for some people, for example. I know I didn't like how, pretty much, your party became whose ass you wanted to look at instead of unique fighters who you'd put in for their individual strengths according to what you're fighting.

I LOVED the political plot line... but I HATED that it felt like character development was sacrificed for it. There was very little in the way of character-character interaction that added to THEM (quirks, habits, um... PERSONALITY beyond your first impression), and not to the plot.

...so yes. Um... FFXII... good game, but it could have been tons better. Because it is SO possible to have deep, twisty, political storyline with fucktons of characterization. I'm looking at you FFT!
