Breeder is that is a thing. Probably of fire pokemon. Or I would run a rehab clinic. Or a shelter for abused Pokemon.

If it was real life, I would hope Pokemon would not actually be fought and enslaved like in the show. But if they were, I'd be in some kind of Pokemon rights group.

Why is fic dialogue all SO BAD? People don't talk that way! Have you fuckers never had a conversation before?! I know. It's probably all written by the 15 and younger set, and I should cut them some slack.

BUT IT'S JUST SHIT! AND KUDOSED TO HELL AND BACK.

Beard observations

So I've noticed:

Older guys either have a beard or don't. The ones who do keep it neatly trimmed. The ones who don't are clean shaven- no stubble. It seems to just be a style choice and nothing more meaningful to them.

Younger guys will have either a huge hipster beard (though some of the people with this beard will object to being called a hipster), or a regular full beard, or stubble. I hardly ever see younger guys with NO facial hair.

Some of the younger guys with the hipster beards seem to make it part of their identity in a way that most other guys with beards do not. Like posting memes about beards, naming a beard (I have actually known someone to do this), saying guys without beards are women, etc. Some of their memes tend to border on a kind of sexist/homophobic type of thing (complaining about guys they think aren't masculine enough).

Working class white guys often have this kind of little beard that just circles their mouth. It's shaved everywhere else. Like a goatee plus mustache? Occasionally I see it on black guys, but usually it's when there are a group of white construction workers or similar around, half of them will have this beard.

Lock the gate! The bad neighbors thread

One of my neighbors didn't shut their gate and it's banging in the wind and making every dog for miles howl. It's been going on for hours (it's just after midnight here) and I want to go through my neighborhood checking every gate until I find the banging one. But I also don't want to get shot or picked up by the police, so I'm just sitting on the sofa seething about it.

Stupidest Way you Injured Yourself

What is the stupidest way you have injured yourself?



I tried shaving yesterday with a 4 year old razor because I found it in storage, it was a kind I like that they don't make anymore, and it somehow never occurred to me that time would dull it even without use.

I cut my one leg 7 times before I noticed and switched to a new razor.
