Danny-he's a failed squaddie stop shilling him-Pink. I defended Moffat through thick and thin and what do I get, a a squaddie with pretensions and a transgerdered time lord. Fuck you, Moff, go fuck off. And that tiger moment wasn't Danny's big clever moment either by the way.

Negan on TWD. I can't stand him. The way they structure their episodes has also made me hate it.

I stopped watching SPN around season 7 because I got so sick of Dean and Sam getting into arguments, breaking up, and then reuniting to save the day over and over.

How does one recover from super greasy food?

I had greasy meat from a Turkish kebab place, and now I'm super bloated.

Do I just drink tons of water or what? I took advantage of the oils by taking a multivitamin, but I kinda... need to stop feeling so bloated. I usually steer clear from grease, but I wanted it today! Soooo not used to it. Bleh

Culture shock in a single country

For you Americans or people familiar with America, what are some culture differences you have noticed within the country? I don't just mean within ethnic/immigrant groups or anything class/socio-economic status related, but rather regional differences?

How about other countries? Does your country have a lot of "cultural differences" between different regions? What are they?

For example, I've heard in the US that Northern/Midwest people take off their shoes indoors, but Southern/Coast people leave shoes on. And Midwesterners are a lot more casual and address each other by first names even in professional settings, whereas Southerners even call their parents "sir" or "ma'am".

I'm an anon on here with no really memorable features to put a tag in front of, but I've posted on here a couple times recently how I was graduating soon - well I did it, I am officially graduated :) Big thanks to everyone who encouraged me on here!

Unfortunately, Nana, who always made them at Christmas, has been gone these many years. They were made like crescent rolls, with a flat triangle of dough being rolled up around a walnut filling (starting at the base of the triangle and rolling to the point), then they were bent into a crescent shape and baked. After baking they got a light dusting of powdered sugar. Nana called them "kifli" but when I Google both that and "kipferle," I see pastries that look nothing like Nana's. Has anybody here ever had one?
