Faramir. When I first watched LOTR (when they came out) I was into Aragorn. Didn't even remember who Faramir was. When I rewatched them a couple years ago, I fell in love with Faramir. No idea what caused that switch.

Mr. Gold from Once Upon a Time. I was attracted to Rumplestiltskin the snaggle-toothed, glittery lizard-skinned monster from the word go, but put the same actor sans scaly makeup and critter contacts and claws and black teeth in an Armani suit and my xenokink ass just shrugs. Took my atrophied sense of normal human attractiveness awhile to warm up to him.

I was watching an episode of a show and there was a shot of the character dragging a chair to the middle of the room and I immediately thought: suicide by hanging, even though there was no indication of anything like that and it turned out the character just needed to get up higher to see something. I wondered why I had thought that and then realized I had kind of been primed to by other media.

Like, every time there is a lot of focus on either side window when characters are driving or passengers, I expect the car to get T-boned.

Favorite Halloween Songs/music

So I do this thing called Toastmasters which is basically learning how to speak better in public. Anyway, I'm leading the October 31 meeting, and I'm going to go all out Halloween.

What are the absolute must-have Halloween songs? They can be scary because no kids, but preferably clean language.

Still need to figure out where the best place is to get cheep decorations. But I at least want to have the music down so I can put together a playlist.

I hope eating too many potatoes isn't dangerous.

The original ones have gotten really worn out and some have gotten holes in them, so I decided it's time for new ones. I got two new sets a few months ago and am thinking I probably need another two, but I'm not sure what the normal number is?

Had to share this somewhere.

So I was dreaming about RP last night and in it I dreamed that someone I've got a thread going with started their tag like so: "The buttery chalice of her skin..." and in my dream I was like WHAT THE HELL WHO TAGS LIKE THAT HOW DO THEY THINK I CAN EVEN RESPOND TO THAT??? And then I woke up and I was still like, "....wtf?" And yes, apparently in dreamworld someone's skin can be a buttery chalice.

Anyway.
