On the one hand I'm happy that our minuscule fandom is getting a bit more fics and I'm not alone in it--on the other hand, I get irrationally angry when the other authors misremember canon. I'm merely puzzled when they interpret bits differently, but forgetting important bits and creating plot holes that shouldn't even be here in the first place? unforgivable! Dudes! I want more fics, but I want fics with better quality too.

I wish more people would "heart" my fanarts. I cannot say if people don't them because they're not really well drawn, or because they hate the characters, or they're fed up with all the space I'm taking in our little corner of fandom. I feel like I should just stop drawing, it's not worth it. I'm such a sad little fanthing.

Even though I'm sometimes tempted, I never want to actually buy fanzines because I'm not a fan of a lot of current trends in fanart circles (both stylistically and themactically) and don't want to spend money on it, even when there are artworks in them that I really like.

I fear that nobody really likes me fic. That at first my friends were just being polite because we're such a tiny fandom every starting author needs encouragement... because soon everything dwindled off and now there're an absolute zero of reviews coming in.

To the anon who made the secret complaining about BNHA being everywhere a couple months ago...I get it now. I totally get it. It's fucking everywhere I can't breathe in a fandom space without getting hit with it. It's at Naruto levels of saturation and rising. I don't want to hate it but...oversaturation kills things for me instantly and it's getting to that point.

I love the song "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," any version. But whenever I hear the version by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell in a movie... I swear one of the characters has cancer and/or dies of it. Recently I learned that Ms. Terrell actually died young of brain cancer. It makes me wonder, are people using the song for that reason? If so, it kind of ruins it for me and I feel like it's a lame way to honor her.

I'm sure I'm being way too sensitive and douchey about this, though.

I don't have time or energy for fandom right now. I miss my Tumblr friends, but I have to force myself to post anything. I'm not sure what it is because I've never been like this before. Wasn't like this working full time on internships or bar studying.
