149: Especially if they don't even know what a 'drabble' actually is. Writing a drabble the right way is a creative challenge, and very impressive when it's done well. When it's done wrong - and it's done wrong the majority of the time these days, it seems - it's exactly what you're describing.

When I was watching Seirei no Moribito, I almost wooped for joy when Balsa says that's she's almost 30, because she's totally still incredible and badass even though in most (at least most I run across) anime she would be "too old to be of use" or something like that.
