I'm working on seeing the Classic stuff - I've seen some of 4, 5 and 6 (6 scares me, but I love 4 and 5), but it's hard to buy the DVDs on amazon when you don't really know which timeline you're buying xD; I'm a stickler for watching things in order.

I really really want to join 'cuz...it just looks so amazing. But the epic Rose vs. Martha ship wars scare me.

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiineeeeeeeeee. I had this moment of "I MISS NINE T_T" yesterday after rewatching 'Rose'.

I think the fandom is all right. There's sections of crazy that I would avoid (or at least only watch from a safe distance) but my experiences have been pretty good with it. And it sounds like you're at least maturing, fandom speaking xD I'm sure you'll be fine.

Yeah, that would screw over a lot of the Kingdom Hearts fandom, wouldn't it? Given the Pride Rock and Little Mermaid worlds...oh, and I remember one artist using Halloween world to make Riku a fluffy werewolf.

(And what would that say about Disney movies themselves? I mean, most characters-as-animals pictures I've seen are pretty much like the animal characters in the Lion King or the Aristocats or whatever. XD)

41. I've been into Doctor Who for a VERY long time. I grew up watching old episodes of it with my grandparents. But, similar to you, Nine will always be my doctor. Although, I do think David Tennant does wonderful as ten. I'm just very partial to Nine.

The earlier doctors were wonderful as well but, as I said, I have a fascination with Nine.

27. ughhh okay. MANGA is from japan. COMICS are from english-speaking countries. ('graphic novel,' imho, is a ridiculous term.) i don't understand the whole 'english language manga' thing -- IT IS A COMIC. just because the style is 'manga influenced' or whatever does not make it manga. it still makes it a comic (or whatever the term is in the language in which it originates; ie, 'band dessinée' for "persepholis," 'manhwa' for korean comics, etc).

that being said, it is stupid of people to judge a comic from its country of origin. i mean, my god, people who won't read like, chris ware or daniel clowes because it's not ~OMG JAPAN~ are just as bad as people who won't read osamu tezuka or whomever because it is ~OMG JAPAN~.

JUDGE THINGS FOR HOW GOOD THEY ARE, GUYS, NOT BECAUSE OF WHERE THEY COME FROM.

er, Graphic novel is a very good, interchangable term. Graphic novel refers to those thick books that you get of comics, whether it be manga or american comics. Remember, most comics are like, 40 page booklets that come in issue form, and otherise, you get the ones that are montly anthologies.

TL;DR: Graphic novel is a useful term for a comic format.

Leftover pairings are the worst, YES! WE-GET-IT! the ship we wanted didn't happen, do they have to pair absolutely EVERYONE up?! I hate it when that happens, I'm okay with my pairings not being canon, but when tptb pair people up just for the sake of pairing people up ARRRGGGHHH! don't get me started.

It's okay if someone is alone with their love still unrequited in the end.
