So, I think I have what they call "hyperpigmentation". Basically I have clusters of freckles-like patches on my skin, that are darker than usual. I'm a little over 30, but not as old to expect age spots. I've seen some of these can be hormonal, but I noticed no major changed in that regard, and did not get pregnant or anything.

They are not common in my family, not even in old individuals. I guess my mom wasn't too careful with me & sun exposure when I was little, but as an adult I mostly stay out of the sun.

I think it looks awful and makes me look older than I am...but, is there actually anything that can be done about it? Does anyone know?
