Co-Dependent Friendships?

Based on the first secret from yesterday. Has anyone had co-dependent friendships, or other co-dependent platonic relationships? Or suspect they did?

Oh Jesus. My BFF and I are ridiculously co-dependent in a low key sort of way. We've lived a mile from each other for the better part of twenty years. When I went away for college, we both became mopey shut ins, and when she moved ten miles away after she got married it lasted all of three years before she and her husband bought a place and moved in a mile down the road, despite that it was farther away from her job. Even though we might only see each other once a month or so, we seem to need to live near each other.

I think all of my relationships with people probably aren't healthy and never have been.
I don't know how to be close to people but I also don't know how to maintain distance.

I relied too much on a friend during a highschool when I was severely depressed which in turn destroyed the relationship. Now I'm too afraid to get too close with to anyone because I don't want to force my feels on them and have difficulty telling when I'm being annoying.

No I'm kind of the opposite end of the spectrum, I'm really bad at keeping in touch with friends. I'm trying to do better though, making sure to keep in contact with my two bff's from uni because I know that I won't want to loose them.

I'm watching Dark on Netflix. It's really good, but complicated as fuck. I don't think I've ever worked this hard to keep all the strands of a story straight in my head. It's in German, with subtitles, but you get used to them really fast (or at least I did).

I've only watched the first episode of Hard Sun, but I enjoyed it. Star Trek Discovery has gotten really good.

Usually we're at least a season behind everyone else except for Star Trek: Disco, Steven Universe, and Doctor Who.

What anime would you recommend...

... for someone who has watched almost NO anime except for a few Miyazaki movies? I loved the animation in those, especially Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro. I've never really tried to watch any TV series because the plots seem all over the place. Bonus points for:

* beautiful animation
* interesting plots - I don't mind some WTFery, but I'd like them to make sense
* interesting settings: historical, fantasy/sci-fi


Do not want:

* porn, gore, anything super violent
* anything too cutesy or with plots where romance/romantic relationships is the main focus
* no high school settings

Rant + Request for advice

Ever since I started working out 3 months ago, my legs jerk at night and it keeps me awake.

Basically, I'll be tired and ready to fall asleep, but when I lay down and start to relax into sleep, my legs jerk and it wakes me up. When that happens, for some reason, my heart thumps in my chest, I start overheating, and I'm suddenly completely awake. It takes me ages to start feeling tired again, and as soon as I do, my legs jerk and the whole thing starts all over again.

This even happens the second night after I've hit the gym (so, like, a full day and a half later).

I always stretch after working out. I've tried using one of those foam rollers. I've been taking magnesium and potassium supplements for several weeks now. None of it has helped.

I'm so frustrated and demoralized. I finally managed to start working out regularly for the first time in my life, and instead of making me feel healthier and helping me sleep better, I feel like shit from barely sleeping. I don't know what to do.
