The Hound on Game of Thrones. At least Jaime has had a character arc where he went thru some shit and changed. The Hound was just like..."He didn't rape a girl so good for him!"

I think any character can be redeemed in the hands of a skilled enough writer (yes, even ones like Voldemort). There are only characters I don't want to be redeemed because I, personally, hate them.

Dahlia Gillespie from Silent Hill. (Game version of course.) She's just too effing messed up.

I was about to say Walter Sullivan and stick with a Silent Hill theme but years ago I was in an RP where someone made him believably sympathetic. I still don't have any sympathy for the canon version but I still remember that.

I'm the anon who said they didn't give a fuck about creep shots because you're in public and privacy is dead. Long story short, I'm going back through days' old GC threads trying to find a specific thread, found the confessions thread I admitted that in a few days ago to find two anons calling me a pervert because they thought I meant upskirt shots. I didn't. If I meant upskirt shots, I would've said upskirt shots. In my experience, people on the internet use the term creep shot to mean any photograph taken without the subject's explicit permission, like, for instance, if they're wearing a particularly fascinating outfit or cosplaying or whatever other reason.

THAT'S what I don't care about and think is obnoxious that people complain about. If you're in public, you can't dictate that people can't take your photograph, even if they don't ask for permission first. Do you even have any idea how many photographs you appear in the background of just by virtue of being in a public place? Who cares?

(I follow someone on Twitter who cares a lot. I think it's stupid.)

Meanwhile, upskirt shots are a gross violation. That's a given.

I always try and fail at nano but today was my day off and I somehow managed to write like 7k. It's fun. Part of me wants to write another scene and I have lots of ideas but I'm also physically really tired and have work in the morning so I probably shouldn't.
