138 - I just came to the same realization about Spot LITERALLY two days ago. I completely agree.

Holy crap, OP! Me too! I was not so advanced as to assume CGI, but I totally thought actors wore fake lips or something on top of their real lips. Because then it doesn't actually count and their significant others wouldn't have to get jealous.

This goes along with the belief that every time I saw a movie as a child I thought it was being acted out at that very moment. What if someone watched the same movie in two different places at the same time?

In short: I think we are all insane as children. Welcome to the fold!

I thought it was creative camera angles and careful posture and body contact made to LOOK like they were kissing, but they really weren't.

103. I can kind of relate to what you're saying, but there are indeed some girls who have a hard time with getting along with their own gender in favour for guys. I think that might be a little irrational by automatically taking everyone who says that as an idiot.

157 -- YES! I hate that pairing too! They're just so juvenile when they're together and they really bring out the worst in each other. I really think Anders is the only one who's any good for her (besides Helo, the best BFF ever). Hopefully his recent brush with death will make her stop taking him for granted.

I'm re-reading/-watching the series and actually just starting to get into that pairing (late, I know), but I can relate to people being turned off by badfic.

About the bottom vs. top question:
I don't think Kuro's character and pride would let him be bottom, at least not very often and even less "just like that" without having built up a decent amount of trust to the one who'd top. However! I think the progress of (realistically!) getting a character to that point where he agrees (and this can also be about any other manly!man in fandom) is one of the most interesting fanfic-topics out there. I love it, actually.

How can he hate Americans when he so very very much wants to be Joss Whedon?
