He'll always be connected to Weiß Kreuz for me even though I know plenty of his other roles. But that's the first one I encountered him in and it was especially memorable considering that weird boy group singing situation they had going on for the VAs for that. I know character songs were a thing in general but damn, Weiß Kreuz had so much of those...

Luck Gandor and Ryou Kanzato on here but not Kiryuu Touga? Hilarious. But he's basically been doing multiple roles a year since 1991, so we can forgive.

I have the opinion that everyone thinks of a voice actor mostly as the first significant character they saw them in. So whenever they encounter said actor again, it's more of a "oh, they have [my blorbo's]" voice. Alas, JJBA is huge and this effect would therefore be widespread.

I've grown more cynical of it myself, but I could see it if the meeting were preceded by a courtship or even a close friendship online. Yes, I know that changes things, but it would technically still be at first sight.

I don't believe in it at all in real life but I can find it fun in fiction depending on how it's done, most of the time it's not a 'true love in 5 mins' thing, it's two characters being attracted to each other and then falling for each other over time, which is fine and for me perfectly enjoyable.
