Hey f!s I just got back from a teeth cleaning and once again they mentioned me getting a crown for my royally-fucked up tooth and I worry about it.

What's your least favorite part of the dentist/orthodontist? I really hate when they're scrapping the tartar and it sends wave after wave of goosebumps.

I honestly didn't think it was that bad, and I expect bad from SyFy movies...(The beauty in the Beast movie where Belle is the only girl running around in a skimpy outfit. So I'm in a guild in a MMO and for the most part everyone's cool. But this new guy keeps using the word retarded. "That boss was retarded." "They nerfed the warrior now it's just retarded." "Finding enough carrots is so hard it's retarded." etc

It really bothers me. I'm not sure what to do about it. I don't want to be seen as that that PC/SJW uptight annoying person, but I also don't want him to continue with the word. Should I Whisper/PM him and mention it? Mention it to another guildie and see if it bothers anyone else? Leave it alone?

I just don't know. I want to stand up but also don't want to make anyone else uncomfortable in any way. But if I were using words people in the guild found offensive I'd want to know so I could stop unknowingly upsetting people. Advice would be welcome.

Is ERP cheating?

This is something that's been eating away at me. For those of you who don't know, ERP stands for Erotic Roleplay. I've been smut RPing with someone over a course of a few months now,and I find it a lot of fun, creatively and emotionally. Our character's just hit it off right away in a forum, and eventually, after some lemon stories we shared and the forum shut down we...just ended up creating scenarios amongst ourselves. And we became really good friends to boot.

The problem is, I've been told off handedly by someone (who doesn't know I ERP) that they believe sexual roleplaying is perverse and still emotionally cheating on a real life partner, eventually becoming life-destroying. In all honesty, I've been really careful with the person I'm RPing with, and I know for a fact that we're friends mutually, and we're both in happy, real-life relationships. Hell, ERPing with him has IMPROVED my sex life, giving me more confidence in myself sexually. Like before, I couldn't go on top because I was so shy, but after writing my character do it, I felt like, why couldn't I be that confident in myself? And it sounds stupid, but it really did help me become more adventurous in bed, whereas before I didn't know what I was really doing.

But still. I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 3 years, and we trust each other 100%. I've never told him about this. Part of me is afraid that he will think that I am cheating on him (ESPECIALLY if he knew my RP partner was male), but I honestly feel in my heart that I'm not. But maybe I am, and I'm just in denial over this?

I don't know how to feel. I don't want to stop RPing, because I can't stand the idea of not following our character's lives together, but I'm terrified that maybe I am being disloyal to my bf, and I'm just gambling with our relationship like this.

I don't know what to do...

BNFs (again)

So I asked last night if you knew who the BNFs in your fandom were (because I have no idea who the BNFs in mine are), and the responses I got were largely "no". So I'm going to go more general this time. What makes someone a BNF anyway? Are there criteria specific to LJ/DW or Tumblr or FFN that make someone a BNF in some places but not others?

(And if you know of some good BNF stories, share them! For all the wank in my fandom (Supernatural), none of it that I've seen has been about BNF wank, and I looove BNF wank.)

It's a bird day! Dogs and cats make great pets, that's true, as do mice and rats, but let's not forget that parrots (and other birds) can make wonderful, affectionate and loving companions too. Some birds, especially sun conures, can get really attached to their people as well and can even be trained to do tricks! Though they're also insanely loud, but, well, birds will be birds.

By the way, that last video is absolutely worth watching if only to hear the phrase 'shagged by a rare parrot' being used in an absolute seriousness.

I recently stumbled across one by accident and remembered that I loved Harry/Weasley pairings back in the day, but the fandom is so huge that I have no clue where to look. The only pairing specific comms I could find where either with Draco or Snape or dead.

Cry Baby Lane Movie

It was a movie that aired on Nick only once back in 2000. It then disappeared off the face of the earth and Nick denied it existed. A ton of rumors started about it, and got a sort of cult following. A year or so ago someone from, I think 4chan, found an old VHS copy of it. It was posted online and then Nick admitted to it, and that they had simply forgotten it. They aired it at Halloween a few times after that.

In the end people were pretty disappointed in it, as it didn't live up to the hype. But I finally got to see it (was out trick r treating then) and...I love it. It's a "Oh god it's so bad it's good" type of movie. And it does have some "WTF" moments for younger viewers. Locking a kid in a room with corpses, the amount of times the main character is naked is horrifying in itself, and the worm eating...Just plain creepy.

I also like the idea of having more than one team so we can compete against each other maybe?

Anyway I'm starting this because whoever starts the party on Chore Wars ends up "Dungeon Master" of the party (the person who decides what chores exist, and what experience points they give) and that's probably something that should be discussed first. Plus we should probably agree on a name.

I really want to play D&D (or a similar game), and I have for a while, but I don't know any dungeon masters in the area, and I don't really want to go out and meet real life strangers. Is there anywhere online where I could play something in a similar style (i.e text based) for free?
