As far as I know, from reviews and word of mouth, 'Twilight' was written by a woman who's pretty much Puritan in terms of sexuality.

As someone who's into the BDSM lifestyle and who has read parts of 'Fifty Shades,' I can honestly say that book is porn + handcuffs + terriblewriting. If you wanna get off to bad porn, it's for you. That's about all it's good for. Doesn't really teach anyone anything about BDSM.
