Waiting for yuletide nominations and getting that urge to write. Is there a central listing of fandom exchanges? Something similar to the masterlist of kinkmemes? I'd love to participate in more multifandom exchanges (I found out about the panasian fandoms exchange after sign-ups had closed .___.) but have no idea where to find them.

Like an unrealistic upfront "you literally have to drop dead and this other person will live or they'll drop dead and you'll live"
Versus life risking behaviour where it's more a risk than guaranteed.

Inspired by the song "I'll lay in front of a train for you" or something.

Like, if the train is far enough away and you're on the tracks I'll try to get you off (life risking) versus train is pretty close, I might try to grab your feet and drag you away without actually going onto tracks (slightly less risky) versus proving my love for someone by laying down on tracks when there's no risk to anyone but me (no).

Other suggested scenarios:

(Mine is that I am entering Hour 3 of trying to set up my ancient Tivo with my new cable box. First time around it only showed broadcast channels and none of my cable ones, so I'm doing the set up for a second time and it takes forever, with no guarantee it will work this time. I know that it should work, but it's very frustrating in a low-stakes way. I just want to record Masterpiece Mystery!)

Things that are better on a binge watch, and why

Last week, I watched Heroes season two for the first time since it aired and liked it so much more.

You can follow the link for the full Leisure Time post on why, but the short story version is that with how large the cast was, I felt like I was missing out on characters and stories I cared more about during episodes that heavily featured others. And then I had a week to stew over that instead of 15 seconds or however long it took to click a button.

What are some other shows you guys think hold up better on a binge than a week-by-week basis? How about the opposite?
