Man, would be nice if democrat repeal the #netneutrality... why the hell gop holding and dictate the fcc like that? Did gop have the nra already?....

Maybe netneutrality is out of spectrum of laws and gop began installed them....?

I've been on dragons rush lately and was wondering if anyone had any recs concerning dragons.

Shows/book/movies about dragons

or preferably:

Games/apps where you can make your own dragons, breed 'em, color 'em, etc!

How do you all like your dragons? Intelligent, more like animals, or what?

I like all kinds of dragons. Like...literally any kind. Smart dragons, animal-like dragons. Eastern Dragons, western dragons. Evil ones, good ones. Small ones, and little ones.

I really enjoy portrayals of dragons that are more realistic (so I guess like animals).

I feel I'm totally obvious but, How To Train Your Dragon books series, How To Train Your Dragon movie and spin-off cartoon and... I think the franchise's got a game call School of Dragons too? or Rise of Berk?

intelligent. I've loved dragons since I was a little kid. I have a bunch of dragon things (jewelry, clothes, knicknacks, art, etc.)

I love all dragons, equally and without reserve.

If media wants to go the more animistic and beast-like route I am a-okay, if media wants to go with the intelligent kind then I am also a-okay.

I just fucking love dragons man.

Some of my favourite designs are from the 3.5 D&D Monster Manual, they all look so majestic and beautiful and they are intelligent creatures that can do magic and shapeshift. I'd love to see some more of that type of dragon tbh.

Also the WoW dragons are pretty neat as intelligent dragons, though they get picked on a lot by the writing.

I love the dragons in Game of Thrones.

One of my formative influences was a cartoon movie titled "The Flight of Dragons" (1982, Bass and Rankin). It was probably the secondary influence behind "The Last Unicorn" but helped consolidated my love of mythical animals and particularly when they get portrayed as intelligent.

Probably my top favourite type of dragon is the long-lived, super-intelligent, highly magical, Dungeons and Dragons ones, with a note that my most solid information on them was a 3E Monster Manual. My favourite type amongst them are Silver Dragons who tend to be Chaotic Good in alignment and have a fondness for shapeshifting and living in Elven and Human forms.

I think those two aforementioned movies also made me fond of shapeshifting as well. Voluntary shifting though, I'm not much of a fan of werewolves.

I did, for the most part, like Anne MacCaffery's Pern novels which are a totally sci-fi take on dragons. Absolutely no magic, the world of Pern is a backslid colony world and the dragons are the genetically engineered relatives of a native creature, fire lizards. Actually the fire lizards are an interesting idea as well.

I am not that much of a fan of Tolkien dragons though, because they are all evil. I like the idea of good dragons. If you can, look up the "Enchanted Forest Chronicles" by Patricia Wrede. I only ever read the first book, "Dealing with Dragons", but it was a fun story that played on and subverted fantasy tropes. The dragons were also good guys in it.

I love dragons.

I play the How to Train Your Dragon related MMO game, School of Dragons. I've been playing since they launched and have most of the dragons. I also play Rise of Berk with a level 109 Toothless.

There was a CGI kid's show called Jane and the Dragon that was okay. The dragon on it was intelligent and chatty.

I'm up for a TV watch-along. Since Clone Wars is on Netflix and might be leaving, I thought I'd start here. Anyone up for it? What schedule works for you guys? Would you like to work with the chronological order or the air date order?

I guess I'd be up for it. I have the dvds. I'm not sure which order is on there, though.

It's 2AM where I live and since I have insomnia I just decided to sort out all my pencils. What trivial/random activity did you engage in today, people?

Got a hold of the guy who left me a voicemail to set up an interview. He said he was out of the office and would call me back in the afternoon but he never did. ಠ_ಠ I also washed my curtains.
