63. Gotta say, as far as fillers go, the Bounto Arc really is pretty good. They didn't betray the feel of the show or the characters, and they even managed to integrate the fillers into the original plot (instead of going the route that most shounen anime do and just forgetting the fillers ever happened). It wasn't my favourite, but I definitely enjoyed it. And I completely agree about the plushies.

1: That's sad. I don't know what your circumstances are so I'm not passing judgement, but if you were to be open about your religion, you would make it easier for others, and you'd probably find that it wouldn't be as difficult as you thought it would be. (Me, I'm a Christian and completely open about it. I don't talk about it that much, but it's not a secret.)

9: DO IT. DO EEEEEEEEET. I loved the film, and I desperately want Plainview/Ely hateporn, and I cannot find it. (Also: I think Firefly is the most overrated TV series in the history of time, but I've written fic for it more than once and will do so again. You don't have to love something to fic for it, you just need to be familiar with it and willing to hold your irritation back while you write.)

23: The only series I know of that holds a candle to Utena, in my opinion, is Haibane Renmei. Most series don't even try to be as intelligent and complex and multilayered and generally awesome. I actually prefer Haibane Renmei, because as well as having a similar level of depth as Utena, it's got better animation and no filler.

31: Did you know he's on LJ? chancrescolex. You probably already knew this. Anyway, now other people do. (I saw a referral link from his flist to my comics blog once, and I freaked out. "AAAAAAAAAAH AAAAAAAAH JHONEN READ MY BLOG!!" It was like getting caught by paparazzi in my underwear. Like my blog needed a haircut and a facial before it was presentable. I mean, awesome! because he is awesome! but also, kind of intimidating.)

46: CRY MOAR. Guess what? The majority of fanfic writers and readers like romantic stories. If you want to write gen, write it. If you want to read gen, read it. You want other people to read or write something because YOU like it? Not gonna happen.

(And, by the way? What people are interested in in fandom != what they're interested in in life. Or non-fandom fiction, for that matter.)

28. I feel the need to salute you, if only because I watched him in Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, and he was all sorts of awesome in it.

39. Devil May Cry 4 is awesome. Anyone who says you're not a true fan because you got into the series because of it is out of their minds. 4 actually stuck with what makes the series so popular with fans, and kicked it up a notch with Nero's crazy moveset. And Dante? Made of sex and win.

I think the point is if you rub it in their face that you found everything. Like, "I'm better than you because I got everything in the game!" I don't think the OP was saying "I'm better than you cause I don't use a guide," but they were expressing their frustration that their friend, obviously an GameFAQ-Junkie, holds themselves above them because they got 100% when they were just following the steps in a guide. ^^;

It's okay to use a guide, but when people act all superior even though they used a guide the entire time.. It's a little bit annoying. (Personally, if it's a game I'm that obsessed with getting 100% on, I'll play through it once then go back and re-do it.)

I find the course of their friendship (not buttsex--friendship) the most fascinating and heartbreaking aspect of the series by far. I think that they shouldn't get a happy ending, but then again, I think that they've both pretty much been dead since they were 10. In other words, IAWTC x1000.
