I want well-plotted, well characterized stories about the canon characters, set in the canon universe.

99% of the fandom is either ooc porn or fics featuring people's RP characters.

I love dark!Stiles fic. Especially if he is paired with Peter. Doesn't seem to be a lot of that around. :(

My fandom has two extremes for my OTP: Abusive, or super fluffy while ignoring that they are villains (often in a modern!AU setting). My preference is for them being in love but still blatantly evil and doing horrible things to everyone who isn't themselves.

I like stories that explore character faith, especially if it's a fake fantasy religion. Mostly, it's ignored in fic. And if it is included, it's always preachy. I'd rather it was just a part of the character and not necessarily the focal point of the story itself; it's just something that's not forgotten.

I like longfic, but a lot of the stuff I see in the SU fandom is short, super-focused character studies.

Ones that don't shove popular fanpairings in untagged and ones that don't infantalize the characters. I may be out of touch, but I don't think it's cute and not in the slightest awkward or embarrassing for 18-19 year olds to wake up crying for mommy and daddy.

I'm planning my first vacation for spring break. I have some questions.

I still need a passport, can I get one in time? I have about 5 weeks before the trip.

Which website should I use for booking a hotel? Booking.com has really good prices, but the reviews are mixed. I don't want to arrive in another country and have no place to stay. What service do you use? How about Airbnb?

The cheapest flights are with Turkish Airlines. Are they good?

If you're American, I'm pretty sure the answer is no, although they may have some kind of expedited option.

Possible answer being: Oh, right. They're stupid.

Example: I was reading a buzzfeed article (don't judge!) about things hotel housekeepers will never tell you (outside of the article, apparently). And the first item was "We slip on your used condoms" because people apparently frequently just toss them wherever on the floor after sex.

The number of comments of people losing their shit because they had to read it multiple times because at first they thought they were implying "we put on your used condoms" was mind-boggling. Where have critical thinking skills gone???
