Language learning

I've studied Japanese for quite a long time and am comfortably conversational (beyond just every day stuff, like I can more or less talk about more advanced stuff and generally explain myself)... so that gave me a false sense of how good I am. I decided I would finally prepare to take the official Japanese language proficiency exam, so I'm taking a class... and two lessons in, and I am overwhelmed. I don't know how I'll learn and remember so much kanji. And all this vocabulary, argh. I'm so down, I've basically convinced myself I'm a beginner.

How do you all study languages? Any tips? I have a terrible memory for flashcards and such.

Tension headache treatment

Does anyone have any non-drug related treatment ideas for a tension headache? I've taken Tylenol, Naproxen, and Tramadol. They took the edge off, but that's it. I've had a heating pad on my neck, and that is helping, but only when I have it on, and I can't exactly go to sleep with a heating pad turned on.

YESSSS!!! Omg these two have such amazing chemistry 😍. I honestly thought we were gonna get to see them get together, but was super bummed when the writers rushed other things. Jacob was always there for Cady and he showed a side of himself to her that he hadn't done with anyone else. Also you could see Cady trusting him and going to him for help more and more as well as confiding in him 🥰. I read fanfic on AO3 just to get my fix. I feel as though we were robbed of what would've been the BEST thing to happen on the show 😍
