Anyone reading the latest? Is it still grim? Have they undone the dark grim edgy shit shit? Is hannah back to happy? Things gone back to good with violet and orc dave?

Need to know before I sink any more money into it.

I picked up the first two issues of the new volume and, well....

You know how in Star Trek Television the cold open starts with the actors doing things that are weirdly out of character, and you just know it's going to be 1) mind control, 2) time travel, 3) alternate reality, or 4) holodeck? It was kinda like that.

It's not a huge deal.

I'm female and prefer guys close to my own height (while it seems like the expected preference is for taller guys), but if someone is either taller or shorter, it wouldn't bother me at all.

Having a defensive complex about it is almost always unattractive, and that goes for both unusually short or tall

Has anyone here ever followed this advice? I've gotten into a new, super tiny fandom and there's not a single fic for the pairing I ship. I'm actually tempted, for the first time ever, to write some myself. I haven't come across anyone else that ships it, I'm guessing at least partly because one half is in a (super popular) canon relationship with someone else, so I'm not sure anyone would even read or like it, but...I'm thinking of doing it anyway.

Has anyone else posted fic in a similar situation? Do you feel like it was a waste of time or wish you hadn't done it?
