Truly this, a crude comment from a couple years ago about whether or not lyrics are homosexual, is the most homophobic comment I've ever heard from a celebrity. Definitely worth a fandom secret.

While that quote above me is troubling and horrible, and despite the fact that she supported Romney (but said that didn't mean she agreed with everything), Melissa's really good friends with Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his fiancee.

I'd really like to think that Jesse wouldn't be friends with someone like that, so maybe she's changed over the years?

She voted for Romney. I would say at the very least, the rights of gay people aren't very high up on her list of things she supports. (And that was enough for me to be bummed.)

Though I too am curious if there's something she said that was specific.

Actually, also, I remember that Hilda and Zelda being sisters didn't really register to me. I kind of thought of them as a married couple orz

I think we should just go to a one party system. Everyone who belongs to the party with which I disagree is a terrible human being and should be eliminated. Democracy is completely bunk, as evidenced by the fact that our country is filled with stupid people who will actually deign to vote for the party that I hate. We should do away with it. I mean, there will still be elections, but they'll be between different members of my party, so it won't actually be a choice. There won't have to be a choice, because the correct, non-stupid people will be in charge.
