So I'm watching the latest episode right now and Leo, Grant, and Jemma are rocking my world. May is a master of the art of silent snark, and Coulson is still awesome. The episodes are getting better (the one where Jemma got infected was the best) and the fanfic is bringing me joy.

But then there's Skye. Who is so obnoxious, self-centered, and self-righteous that I want to ragequit.

What do y'all think?

Some advice from people who work on their feet!

I got a new job. I am on my feet sometimes 7 hours a day (mostly standing in one place). I also spend a good portion of the day leaning down and standing up (I package items). I also daily move boxes weighing 50+ lbs. Does anyone have advice for my hurting feet and body?

Fandom and phobias

Has fandom ever either helped you with something you are scared of, or made you more scared of something? Or both even!

For example:

Playing Skyrim has helped me with my arachnophobia. I've gotten way less scared of spiders in real life after all those Frostbite Spiders.

On the other hand, playing the new Assassin's Creed game (and I don't consider this spoilery, but perhaps slight gameplay spoiler, idk) and the underwater places in it has made me more scared of sharks than Jaws ever did. I've had three nightmares about sharks since I've started playing it :( (I can't really call this a phobia yet, but still..)

So I kind of want to dive into Marvel fandom, gimme some recs

because I watched Thor: The Dark World on Saturday and it was akin to a goddamn religious experience.

The thing is, this fandom is ginormous and filled with stuff I don't care about. I care very little for Tony/Loki (I tried!). I'm pretty interested in Thor/Loki (I watch Thunderfrost on tumblr but damn do they like weepy little femme Loki) but I'm a Thor stan over a Loki stan and I don't like stuff that denigrates Thor. :| I also adore Thor/Jane and for some reason Loki/Jane, idk. I love ensemble cast/teamwork fics and Science Bros and prettypretty fanart.

Rec me stuff! Comic lines! Tumblr blogs! Fics! Self recs are okay! I'm just really excited for this fandom but it's so overwhelming. :<
