Murder Rooms stream THURSDAY 25.09 7PM UTC

Okay. I know this is an awkward time for a stream, but I have a bunch of fandom friends and we are all from Western Europe, so. If any of the f!s people are able&want to come anyway, I'll be very happy.

I'll be showing The Kingdom of Bones, the third episode of Murder Rooms, a detective miniseries aired in 2001. The episode has a mummy, elephants, and explosions! No prior knowledge of the Murder Rooms franchise is needed (all you need to know is that the main protagonists are Arthur Conan Doyle and his university teacher&the prototype of Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Joseph Bell).



There will be no breaks on request (it’s impossible to pause a broadcast from the Livestream library), but the file is a three-parter and I can wait before switching to the next part if someone wants that. That’ll be about 30 min into the episode the first time and then after another half an hour the second time.

This happened to me in an exchange last year. I got matched up with...Loki.

Now, I don't hate Loki, but I'm completely uninterested. I just treated it like a fill I would want to get and the recipient really liked it.

How many of you woud be interested in a weekday shitstream

Hi, I've been thinking of doing a shitstream (with Noodles' blessing), but the thing is Saturdays are absolutely the worst days for me to do it. Most of the time I'm not even at home.

I was thinking of doing a "Terrible Taste Trailer Night", maybe shorter tan usual shitstream, but that basically a couple of hours with trailers to movies that are so bad it's funny.

There was also maybe the idea of people picking their fav trailer and then airing the full feature at a later time.

And ou know: audience participation, for your fav bad trailer.

Is anyone interested in that? Can people logistically make it on a weekday? What time would be realistic?

Fandom Secrets revisited

When I've confirmed it's gone from the original secret, I'll delete it from mine. I know that probably seems like a lot of work, but given the anonymous nature of secrets, I can't just take any anon at their word when they say "That was mine, please delete."

I am trying to get through House of Leaves and it is a PAIN to read. I keep forgetting which font belongs to which person or what was going on during whoever's story/font I am reading. So far, the book has not been a fun experience but I hope it gets better.

So the ratings are in for the season premiere and they're awful. I feel bad, because I know elements of the show are really awesome. Two female mains and they're both PoC! But gah, it bores me to tears. I just couldn't get into it last season. I still think it's a shame if it gets canceled, even if I couldn't keep on watching it.
