Please help me FS. It's past my bedtime and I very much want to go to sleep but I can't, because before going to bed I watched a very bad movie* and now I'm too wound up. When I try to relax, unwanted thoughts flood my brain with "aughhh but that plot just could not work why did they use that" and replay all the infuriating scenes just to point again why and how they cannot work.
Is there any way I can just... forget that mess or at least force myself to focus on somethig else tonight?

* not intentional. It was sold as quite good by everyone who rec it but it didn't live up to the hype and ugh it failed logic forever.

Random question. If someone is accused of a crime and they insist they didn't do it, is it a betrayal for their friends to believe they did?

I'm actually asking because I'm reading a fic where it was treated horribly that the friends of a character believed that he had committed the murder he was accused of. And when it was discovered he was innocent, the fact that he could forgive them was treated as amazing and they grovelled and all had to make it up to him.

Whereas to me, if evidence points to someone committing the crime, even if they are a friend, I don't think it is wrong to believe they did it and I don't think the friends would have anything to make up for.

Not sure if I covered the movie. But I quite enjoyed it (again, thanks anon for sharing it)! It has been a while since I watched it and I forgot to write the details down. The only thing I remember super clearly were how creepy and foreboding the domes were at the end.

Beginning: I took me forever to remember who these secondary people were because I had not watched in a while. I found this episode to be pretty meh but I liked how the weird monster turned into an ALLIIIEEEENNNNNN!

Drive: Aw yes, silly looking Bryan Cranston. I loved the idea of a sound driving people crazy. And I also loved that Mulder was not able to save him in the end. Though, poor Mulder. :(

Triangle (aka the reason I posted): HOLY SHIT! I fucking LOVED this episode. First off, a time travel to an alternate timeline SET IN THE 1940s. FUCK YEAH!!!! I love all the characters being here. Scully is so badass. The scene where Mulder goes, "He was the scientist [referring to dead man]." Loved it so much. Mulder standing up and not telling them who the scientist was.

And then...that ending. When the fucking swing music starts and the fight starts. Holy. Fucking. Shit. I loved it. And then Scully and the Lone Gunmen show up and are exploring the ship. The use of the Split Screen was amazing. I just...I loved it. Especially when the two Scullys passed each other. AND EVEN NAZI!SKINNER IS TAKING CARE OF HIS AGENTS! AND THE MUSIC DURING THE WHOLE THING. And Mulder got his kiss.

And then the end with the whole Wizard of Oz ending. And you were there and you were there! Mulder telling Scully he loved her and then fondly touching his cheek. ;_;
