It's weird for me too. Like on the one hand it's nice to be less shoved-to-the-side, but at the same time there's way too much involvement and the boundaries are vanishing and it's kind of a shitshow.

Counterpoint: if you've been inactive for over a year and then suddenly update with a "this is not an update, but it's not abandoned" ... that's also a little shitty. I always found that transition from joy at the new "chapter" to the crushing disappointment that it's not actually a chapter worse than nothing.

I have the opposite problem. I never liked Sheridan, and I was thinking "Why'd they replace the guy who had gravitas with this vacuous low-rent Greg Kinnear?" Then, years later, I learned about O'Hare, and all I could think was "Okay, yeah, good reason."
