I feel like the only way to end it properly was to embrace the cheese. Without going full dairy, there was no way to top off most of the beginning sequences. Sure, not all of it was needed to tell a proper story, but without adding more outrageous stuff, the progression just wouldn't be there.

You must be hanging out in the actual Undertale fandom or something? I'm usually only in casual gaming circles and it's generally treated as just a good game, not 'literary masterpiece' lol.

I feel you, OP. I write for me, I don't have any aspirations for a great novelist career. If I get kudos and comments? Great, I'm grateful and flattere, but it's not my motivation. I just like writing.

Eh. I don't know about this specific situation, but I'd take it on a case by case basis because that's not a particularly large age gap and the older both parties get, the less important it will be.

She was always specific about her targets, though. Yes, in real world context, burning people is terrible. But in Game of Thrones context, all the heroes were guilty of murder and torture and other terrible things. She wasn't any worse than Jon Snow or anyone else.

What was unbelievable was have her suddenly not care about specific targets. That was a development they didn't show us and didn't earn, and I don't get why some people can't see that. Even if you hated her from the beginning, if you can't see that this is a clear change in character, I'm really not sure what show you were watching.
