Worked out, smoked a bowl, watched Korean baseball, gonna get tuna sashimi and seaweed salad for dinner tonight, and then watch The Masked Singer with a glass of wine, woohoo!

For the past few hours I've been listening to metal music on Youtube. Started out with Napalm Record's channel and discovered a bunch of new artists. Youtube also recced me some stuff as well.

I cleaned my bedroom and the laundry room, went to work, and am now home and flopping. I don't know what I'm going to do tonight. Probably read some (just started reading The Crystal Shard) and play Animal Crossing. I'm trying to fight off a depressive funk. ;;

Cleaned out the cats' litter boxes (once a week with bleach keeps them from smelling) and then made kale chips. I'm a very exciting person.

Work and then a lot of catch up work to do for my side projects. I had insomnia last night due to excessive time spent on a screen I've been doing too much of everything lately. Probably gonna go home and read some paper back and textbooks to wind down.

Missed a few days here, but reading back on the Palmer x Gaiman fiasco, I derive enjoyment from this because I've always disliked Gaiman's writing and I've never understood why everyone thought he was such a big deal. The fact that his partner has a reputation for being excruciating and an attention seeker in every way adds to the nonsense of their relationship and their general status as "celebrities". For some reason it makes me feel so much better to know that they've sort of destroyed themselves, like that's one less annoying thing I have to hear about in sci/fi pop culture. Sure, Gaiman will keep working, but I'm tired of hearing everyone worship the ground he walks on.

I missed Gargoyles the first time around and picked it up on Disney+. It fits in a lunch hour of work-from-home.

I didn't expect for Frakes and Sirtis to be deliciously sexy as cartoon villain voices. Part of that may be a bad case of quarantine horny. Oof!

What I liked about the mandalorian was that it was a story that happened away from the main Star Wars plot, now that we are getting all this news about how all this previously established characters are going to show up I’m losing interest in the series.

Recently one of my irl friends said to me that she hates the “NOT LIKE OTHER GIRLS” trope. I didn’t said anything but I thought it was so weird because a lot of her favorite female characters fall in this category or at least have that vibe.

I wrote a fic back in 2010, and only posted one chapter. I check on it today and apparently it has reviews?? The latest from 5 years ago...lol Man I forgot about that fic.

Anyway, how long is too long to update a fic? When's the last time you left a fic -- UNread (haha haha -- unwritten, is better, but I couldn't resist making an awful joke)

I almost wanna update. I think I have at least one or two chapters ready. And I did have fun (it was a minor characters focused fic with two OCs)
