The saddest thing is, this is 70 years later, Korra's a teenager... so Aang only lived about 50 years after the finale? I mean, c'mon, Bumi was still alive and kicking ass at 112, Kyoshi lived a long time; hell, even SOZIN, one of the bad guys, lived to 102--and Aang dies before he's 70? This makes me a sad panda...

OMG! I've stayed out of the fandom cuz I didn't want to bother with the wank, and I completely and utterly missed this... this looks awesome. So excited! Still going to stay out of fandom, though. I feel the same way, Anon. My fandom life is what helps me have a happy, productive real life. Sounds odd, but if I have fandom to obsess over I'm just a happier person for some reason. It enhances my offline life instead of detracts from it, because no matter what happens I always have my happy place to go curl up in for awhile to get away.

And I am so terrified every time someone mentions the "end" of Harry Potter. I know they're talking about the movies, but this fandom has done so much for me in the past year. I want to be eighty years old and still have an active HP fandom to hang out in when my grandkids get on my nerves, lol.
