Any time someone tells someone bookish or nerdy or whatnot that they don't know how to have fun, it really bothers me. It shows up a lot in media, in fanfics, and in real life. And no, they do know how to have fun, they just have a different idea than you of what fun is. Maybe for them reading is fun.

Medical/technological/scientific inaccuracy.

Like, okay, I know I should cut non-scientists some slack but I just... I just fucking can't. I'm sorry. It throws me right out of it every time and all I can think is "WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST GOOGLE IT."

Your ultracool badass CDC epidemiologist is walking around without protective gear in an area that might be contaminated! They just fucking touched their hands when they removed their gloves! They TOUCHED A DOOR HANDLE BARE HANDED AAAAAAHHHHHH

Relationships where they argue all the time or are even downright abusive. It bothers me in reality for obvious reasons.

In fiction I just don't want it romanticized or end up being endgame. I am fine with fucked up ships but it needs to be acknowledged that it's fucked up.

Unhealthy relationships presented as healthy, and you're evidently expected to accept them as something to aspire to.

People/characters who never learn from their mistakes and just keep on making them, one after the other, and we're supposed to be totally supportive of them and/or think they're adorable or relatable. "Ha ha, doesn't EVERYBODY do this?? So true!!!" Uh...no?

what do you guys use for image hosting sites? I used to use imgur but it looks like they changed the site around and now I can't figure out how to get a direct link.

So then I went to try tinypic but when i used the "direct link" it led me to the picture on the site rather than just the image itself.

do these sites work for you guys, did i just get stupider?
