Yeah, I'm not personally into the Wachowskis from a stylistic point of view, but I really appreciate the fact that they exist so much. They've really done an extraordinary job of bringing things like this into the blockbuster-Hollywood framework.

Yes!

It doesn't look old, and more importantly, it doesn't look lived in - it doesn't look like it's an actual place that people could live, it looks like a handful of sets. And almost all the places in the movie, except for the Shire, look like that - one or two artificial, new sets in the middle of a vast expanse of nothingness. It doesn't hang together aesthetically.

I never understood why Jurassic park 3 was considered the worst of the original trilogy when the lost world exists. It's almost to the point where I wonder if anyone ever remembers how bad the second movie was or if they all just watched blinded by goldblum lust (which is another aspect I never understood. I thought dr Alan was hotter)

Well, first of all, it's GRRM's decision, not the showrunners.

Second, I... really don't see how Dany ending up on the Iron Throne would be appropriate to the story or characters? I'm not saying that Jon necessarily would either, although I can kind of see the argument for him - but what's the case for Danaerys?
