As a female millenial, I feel like despite people making fun of us for being immature, I never got a chance to enjoy being young. And now I'm starting to age, and Gen Z is making fun of us for being out of touch while so many people my age I know still don't have the traditional markers of being settled into middle age that Boomers and older GenX have (when you're not dependent on your parents and you get to ignore whether or not teenagers think you're cool).

As a cusp millennial (basically someone who is only not a gen z by like 1 year), I think it's more a "women in entertainment industry" thing than a generational thing

but also, we've become better at recognizing our biases/what is wrong with some parts of how we treat celebrities. Compare stuff with Brittany Spears now to 10 years ago. I'm not going to bitter against the next generation for treating newer female celebrities a tiny bit better

Do you have any links to forums or what have you where people are trading "let's get this animation thing together because no one's gonna do it for us"?

I love that kind of spirit in a fandom! While my animating skills are still shit, i started learning off of tumblr (and quizilla before the , making icons and fucking around with GIMP since I didn't want to limewire PS) in fandom spaces.

I liked him a lot, too, and I feel like he got waaay too much hatred for being a flawed person when he was really a pretty realistic teenage boy. I quit at some point in season 4 so he might've gotten worse, but in the early seasons it was like 90% unjustified.
