Is there a non-annoying way to get your Facebook friends to start playing a game? Because I really need another person to help me forward in Pet Rescue Saga, but I really don't want to just bombard everyone with requests straight from the game. (Though that is how my friend actually got me into this game, I just got so tired of getting requests from her that I actually checked the game out....)

My laptop's just gone bust and I need a new one :( Fortunately, I just got accepted into a college and I'll be starting in a couple of weeks so my dad's promised to get me a new one soon.

How does the day go with you guys?

So I need some advice. I have been unemployed for a year (and a couple months). My last job was extremely high stress (and a night job) and I quit after six months. At the same time I began to suffer from a bout of severe depression (thank god for my mother).

I am finally doing better and need to get a job. I have a Bachelor’s in Education but (as much of a waste as it is) I do not want to teach (especially since I have gone 3 years without a teaching job since I got my degree). I am going to start looking for a job next week (I have started looking on the internet).

But I am very worried about my gaps in unemployment and getting back into the workforce. I know many employers ask about this and I don’t know what to say. I don’t know want them to think I am fickle or “crazy” because of the stigma of things like depression.

Any advice in dealing with this situation?

several months ago I got a new laptop, and I've been fighting with my 10+ year old wacom graphire tablet ever since, because it's not Windows 8 compatible. Well I've had enough and I want a new tablet, but the market has changed a LOT since back in the day. Anyone have any recs for a good tablet that *IS* Win8 compatible? My budget is in the $100 range.

Stopped taking my meds

I feel really guilty hogging the first comment for this, but I'm really not ok and I needed to confess this to someone. So I... I had been waiting for the post to come up, TBH.

It's been six weeks since I started taking half the dosage I'm supposed to take, and two since I stopped completely. I wanted to be better on my own. I was tired of all the things having to take meds restricted me. And I was feeling so fine! Way better than I had in years. So I thought, maybe I'm healthy enough now. Maybe it will be enough treatment with the psychotherapy and I don't need the chemicals anymore. The dose I'm supposed to be on is quite low anyway.

But I'm feeling like absolute crap today and. I don't want to start taking them again. I really want to believe this is just a low day. But I've been feeling terribly depresed since the weekend. To make matters worse, I got mugged, and now I'm scared to go outside again. For someone who needed +3 years to get over her agoraphobia, not being able to go out again is kind of a big deal.

I don't know if it's just withdrawal, or if I really fucked up something and should go back to them immediately. I... I don't want to. I know some people need them to function, and that's super ok! I just don't want to be one of them. Never wanted to.

Sorry for the TL;DR... I needed to get that out of my chest. I'm sorry.

A lot of show's pilot episodes are kind of shaky when compared to the rest of its show, but some of them are really, really, really good and manage to be the best possible introduction to the show.
