We're watching The Lion in Winter (which I had promised to show earlier this month), Predestination (a movie about time travel and time shenanigans of the upmost fuckery) and, thanks to Chard, hopefully Ratatoing (a knock-off Ratatouille that is amazingly... well, it's amazing).

Also maybe a bit of wrestling since I forgot WWE was having a show tomorrow, but there are only like two matches I care about so I'm okay to watch it later. Maybe Mil Muertes vs Fenix in their amazingly bloody coffin match from Lucha Underground? How about Angelico leaping like 20 feet and Ivelisse working a match with a fucking broken ankle? How about both?

I was talking about a professor I had who died a while back, and I said something along the lines of the quote in the title. But I got to thinking, why the past tense? Just because he's gone doesn't change my opinion of him. I don't have any reason to stop liking him. It's the same with loved ones who die, or disappear, or leave you for someone else, or join a convent, or anything that separates you but doesn't involve you not loving them anymore. Why do we say "I loved them" if our feelings about them haven't changed?

I just discovered a nest in my doorway and I'd love to record the babies growing! They are currently just eggs



It is located just above the top railing, about lvl with the dog's head. I'm pretty sure it's a Myna's nest and I know they're introduced but...I would like to watch them grow.

Do you tihnk if I like wall the railing off with chicken wire, the cats will not try to access from the other side? I don't want to prevent mum from getting to her two eggs.
