For me it's all about Turians and Drell. Asari and Quarians are hot too, but Turians and Drell are more interesting visually to me.

As for Krogan, they're awesome. Not sure I'm attracted to them, but Grunt in particular is quite handsome and I love the design of his character.

Just adopt them out, if you're so concerned. Most people who are playing now will probably take care of them. But if you don't that'll work out too, because at the end of the day they're just bits of data that don't actually have feelings.

Can't really speak about Germany, though. Maybe what you're finding attractive is the rarity of the look, more than the look itself?

I don't think fandom is a place you take someone if you want them to be more open-minded. You should probably try finding resources from actual pro-LGBT organizations.

Somehow I doubt that someone is going to become more pro-LGBT from seeing people spit venom at each other over who Dean totally wants to fuck more.

From what I've heard, Jack Frost does get a ton of fanfiction. I admit, I don't think I've ever been or in the near future will be as attracted to a Pixar character (oh god, I hope he's at least 18) but I refuse to look myself. I just remember seeing a bunch of porn of him on 4chan.
