So Agentcthulu was going to do a stream this weekend, but, I haven't heard from them at all this week... If something's going on and they are not available, I got a back up stream here...

The theme is sexploitively tinted action movies. Where they knew it was shit, so they threw in lotsa tits! (or made this movie as an excuse to show them)

AMAs should be about two general fields:

Something uncommon that plays a central role in your life. The prime example of this is a person's job; posts about someone's occupation are almost always allowed. This rule exists because we want a person's topic to be something that they know thoroughly and is important to them; this gives them more to discuss and a more thorough background in the field.

A truly interesting and unique event. The quintessential example used for this is "I just climbed Mount Everest." It's an activity that doesn't play a central role in someone's life, but is so uncommon that the users would not have experiences of their own to relate to it.

AMAs should NOT be about:

Generally, something previously posted multiple times, or common topics. This includes: Your day, your girlfriend, being bored or drunk, your opinion on something, needing sympathy or support, etc.

Studio Khara, the studio Hideaki Anno started after leaving Gainax and the one that does Evangelion films, just started doing a weekly animator expo where they get a different person to direct a short. They're planning on making 30.

The third one that came out has been getting a whole hell of a lot of discussion, ranging from it being a commentary on porn addiction and escapism to it's just a silly fanservice music video, you guys. I'd like to hear what you guys think of it. Music's by TeddyLoid, the guy who did some of the Panty & Stocking OST, btw.

In general, how do you think non-human fictional creatures have sex? Could be with humans, or other things from their species, or anything else.

I always wanted to know how Andalites, from Animorphs had sex... they are horse-like, but wouldn't the tail get in the way if they did it like most four-legged animals?

Then there are the various human-like creatures, but they could have different attitudes toward sex than actual humans.

What's the funniest coupling you've made/seen on FR? So far the funniest I've seen was this person who names all of their dragons after bread puns. For example, the dragon I bought from them? Her parent's are Crustington and Crumblaila. (I did change my dragon's name, though, can't remember what her's was. >>;) They also have dragons named Loafwing, Flourbouquet, and Kneadyfeet (among others).

Then, I have a dragon named Papaya that I wanted to breed, and when I finally found the dragon I wanted to mate her with, he wasn't named, so I named him Peach. I'm really tempted to name their babies after fruit too, I won't even lie.

Hanging out with a friend I have a crush on feels so different from hanging out with any other friend. I'm afraid it looks different, too, and she'll notice. From experience, is it more likely I'm acting different subconsciously, or that I'm acting the same and not making my feelings as obvious as I fear?

anyone know anything about migraines?

I have never before in my 35 years of life had a migraine. Early yesterday afternoon, I started experiencing a scintillating scotoma. I knew what it was (once it grew large and intense enough that I realized I wasn't just seeing spots from looking at a brigt glint of light) because a former co-worker started seeing one about a year or two ago and another former co-woker who got frequent migraines explained what it was and I went and read more about it on Wikipedia. (Former co-worker #1 subsequently got a migraine headache for the first time.)

When I realized what was happening yesterday, I went to look up info online again and the descriptions matched what I was experiencing exactly. I also had another symptom that apparently can be a precursor of a migraine: I had a bad ache in one side of my neck for two or three days that had finally gotten better by yesterday morning (I had chalked this up to the fact that I've been recovering from a cold this past week and had tried sleeping propped up in a sitting position two nights in a row in hopes that would help me sleep the night through instead of waking up coughing - I asumed I had wound up sleeping with my neck bent funny).

However, it's been over 24 hours now and no headache. I had a second scintillating scotoma yesterday about an hour after the first (less intense and shorter in duration) and by the time I got home from work I had a very mild ache behind the eyes and in my forehead, but that went away almost immediately upon taking an ibuprofen. Considering how tired I was between the cold (that had kept me from sleeping well for a week and a half) and a physically intense week at work, there would have been absolutely nothing odd about this if I hadn't had the aura earlier and I really only took the ibuprofen in anticipation of things getting worse. (I don't even know if ibuprofen is a good thing to take for migraines!) I had no trouble sleeping last night (yay for being mostly over my cough!) and so far no headache today.

I read yesterday that it's possible to experience an aura and then not get a headache, but that it's rare. I couldn't find information on how long after the aura phase to expect the headache, just that migraine symptoms can be spread out over "days."

My question: should I still be waiting for the axe to fall now, 24+ hours later, or did I get lucky and there isn't likely to be a migraine headache at this point?

My sister rescued a kitten. It is now like 6-7 months old. This is my sister's first cat and she currently has a dog. The cat and dog get along pretty good. Sometimes it is very clingy and nice.

But it can be very aggressive. It will run around her house jumping on everything. It attacks her. It will randomly claw or bite her. It had gotten on top of her head and bitten at her hair. It will sometimes jump at the dog.

She has other bad habits like getting on counters, stealing food, and has dragged her poop out of the litter box. She does not mind water so a squirt bottle does not help at all.

Any advice.

I only ask because I literally spent the entire day sitting around in between appointments that were all in one section of downtown and reading old Kirk/Spock porn on my iphone at various cafes.

I'm wondering when's the best time to contact a beta.

I didn't write back to my beta for about a month, [real life situations,etc.] and I now have waited about a month for my beta to return my draft. That said, I'm aware that life happens, and my beta thus far has been nice. But I would like to start posting my fic...When would you say is the appropriate time to contact her?

Again, I realize life happens and I too had her waiting for about a month, so I did not expect to be responded to promptly. What would you propose fs, as betas or as writers?
