Humans know damn well they can't take this by themselves... and so they bring back the Alpha Kaiju G-man himself because the 'Zilla threshold has been crossed, and you can bet a few decades on ice hasn't taken away his ability to atomic-fire-breath a mother's ass! GODZILLA: FINAL WARS!

ASH VS EVIL DEAD! DOES IT HAVE MONSTERS? NO! BUT IT'S EVIL DEAD AND I SHOW THAT IN MY STREAM EVERY WEEK NOW!

Then, We've seen the movies from the monster's perspective. We've seen the movies from the monster-slayer's perspective. One movie took the perspective of the screaming bystander from the first act going "oh god what is that thing? OH GOD WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!" That movie is CLOVERFIELD!

Finally, the Kaiju keep coming, and we built giant ass robots to kill them because of course we did! Being shown again cause why not, PACIFIC RIM!

Common things that you just don't get

What are some common things that people do that you just don't get.


Like, for example, I don't get putting a ton of ice in drinks and making them freezing cold. That just makes my sinuses and teeth hurt. I prefer things closer to room temperature.

I also don't get milk on cereal. I don't want my cereal to be wet or soggy. I like it the way it is.

So the other night I saw a guy sleeping out in the park with no hat (it's freezing here right now). Feeling bad for him, I swung by and picked up a hat. The guy was grateful and broke down in tears and basically told me his life story. I took him for a coffee and a sandwich because hell, it was all I could do to help.

He asked me to come back and meet him on Sunday. I think he saw me as some kind of angel or something, the idea of which is just so horrible to me. I can't help, I'm barely keeping my own life together thanks to my shitty health, I rent and don't have a spare room - even if I went crazy and thought that was remotely a good idea.

I don't want to give him false hope, I'm not some sort of saviour. But... I don't want to stand by and do nothing. So what do I do, FS? How can I help this guy?

What are some of the most awkward situations you have been in?

I went to look at some houses today and the last one was quite possibly the most awkward thing I have done. I guess the buyer isn't all that enthused about selling (or something) and has been renting it. Which isn't too weird because they usually make the renters leave when it is being viewed. Not this seller! When we got there, we were greeted by the family (the person who greeted us spoke little English). All 14 or so of them. We literally stayed like two minutes because everyone was just hanging out in their PJs and there had been no cleaning done (it wasn't filthy but there were clothes in the bathroom floor and such).

Since I was just complaining a bit yesterday and was way too late for a proper thread, I'll just repost this:

Because so many people kept reccing Star Wars Rebels, I thought I'd give it a try. But damn, every time Kanan opens his mouth, I only see a big grey hairless cow speaking... It's so damn distracting!

I always have this problem - if I know a voice for a certain role, I have trouble disconnecting it from that role when I hear it out of context. There are some cases where the actor is good enough and/or the voice not "special" enough so I'm not bugged by it as much, but mostly it's really distracting for me to the point that it's basically throws me out of the media in question.

Anyone else have voice actors you connect too much with a certain role?
