133. A bit unrelated but I gotta say, isn't it hard to watch At World's End without seeing Dead Man's Chest? Not that it's impossible or anything, but I know I would find it hard seeing AWE without knowing the background from DMC. They're practically parts 1 and 2 of the same story, after all.

145. You're not alone in this. Whatever vast swathes of canon they annihilate, I love Big Happy Heavily Armed Family FOX-HOUND AUs.
It's not a major element of the story, and takes a while to get there, but if 70+ chapter crack pairing time travel epics would be your kind of thing anyway, I believe that the middle chapters of "Stray" (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2711502/1/Stray/) might be relevant to your interests.

This anon has written a WWII AU before... it's not that I'm a Nazi fetishist, just that it's an interesting situation to put characters into and I've always been interested in that time period. Does that sound bad? I'm not sure. But I certainly don't find anything about what they did attractive and the story wasn't meant to glorify them.

Anyway, I'm not sure why I'm posting this, I guess it's just to let you know that not everyone who's written fics with Nazis in them has a Nazi fetish, so hopefully if you meet an author of one in the future you won't think badly of them (based on that reason alone, at least). =)

101. What measures a "real book" anyway? There are some pretty popular novels that fit your definition of "real book" that I think don't deserve the popularity they enjoy but I'd NEVER call the readers stupid.

I enjoy both novels and graphic novels. I also have two degrees, both of which required me to read a lot of history books. Yeah I'm so stupid! I'd rather be open minded about different media that stimulate the imagination and considered "stupid" than be a closed minded, judgemental wanker like you. But part of me thinks you're a troll anyway so I don't care.

106. I kind of understand how you feel. Not just about David Tennant but with a couple of people I admire. There is this small part of me that wishes I could mean something to them other than being a fan and even meeting them doesn't stop me from feeling a little sad about it. However, reality and fantasy are very different things and I just try to realise/remember that being friends with these people might not be as awesome as I think it might be. In fact, what if I have very little in common with my "heroes"? Plus, I've been in a situation where I've got into the inner-circle of someone I admire and it's just AWKWARD because you're always aware of being a fan and how it must look. It made me just as sad that I couldn't just let rip and fangirl in front of their friends in case I looked like a stalker or something.

Basically, I don't think you're weird. I think it's a normal human thing to go through.

I swear my favourite character (Sheppard) hasn't done anything of note this series and I'm still bitter about Weir leaving.
