Kinda fell into working with kids, but I'll probably end up switching careers. Considering my options for careers where you just need an associate's but the pay's decent and it's in demand (ie nursing, dental hygienist, etc.)

My goal is to retire as early as possible.

I do page design and editing for a newspaper, but I'm pretty sure all our design is about to be outsourced. So, then I guess I'll just be editing -- unless I get laid off -- until a position at a newspaper that isn't a cookie-cutter disappointment opens up and wants me.

It's my career, and I have no plan for when it goes belly up, and that kind of terrifies me.

I recently got a job as a supervisor at a call centre. It's hopefully just temporary, as I'm still a student and want to work in something more relevant to my field someday, but it is a decent enough job for the time being.

Currently a director at a childcare center/preschool, working M-F. I wouldn't call it a career. It is what it is. Not what I intended, and pay is shit, but it's where I am right now.

Communications and technology person, at a nonprofit (education field)... I like nonprofits because I go to work every day feeling good about what we do (even though things suck balls right now with the Trump administration, which directly affects a lot of what we do).

But I hate my office. It's a tiny staff with lots of drama. I want to leave, but I also just applied for a newly created position that has a much higher salary than my current shitty salary. I'm applying for other jobs, too, and I kind of don't want to get this internal job because if I do, I'll feel obligated to stay, and if I don't, I'll have more of an excuse to quit. (I anticipate lots of tantrums and bullying if/when I do quit, and I'm a highly anxious person and get crazy nervous when giving notice at jobs even under the most amiable of circumstances) But if I don't find a new job quick, my low salary is gonna kill me, plus a new external hire will probably involve me literally training the person who is going to make lots more money than me... which is a bit of a slap in the face.

I work at a small business that sells craft supplies. We are one of the largest stabilizer distributors in the US.

I hate it and am hoping to one day make a change.

I work as an engineer and it's definitely a career. I have no idea how long I'll be at my current position, but I'm happy there now and that's what really matters. I make enough money to live comfortably and I enjoy my job.

lately my SO has stopped initiating sex. When I initiate sex, half the time it feels like they're doing it just placate me. Not to mention often I'll ask if they want to have sex, and they "yeah let me just do ___ first" and then get distracted browsing the internet or something, and I'm too embarrassed to ask again.

They are under stress right now from work and I've been trying to help and support them, but I am feeling like they in general aren't paying as much attention to me as they used to, even though they've been staying at my place most of the time, not just sexually (though sex is important to me). They mostly seem to sleep and eat here at this point, not do anything with me. I don't know how to express that though without sounding whiny and inconsiderate of the stress they're under though.

It doesn't held that I've gained like 20 pounds in the last couple months and my self esteem is super low. Like, I can't help but feel maybe they just aren't attracted to me anymore.

Bleh.
