That's actually a common problem - talking over an idea at length can give your brain the same sense of completion as writing them down, so when you sit down to actually write the story, you tap out because it feels like retreading old ground.

My older sister used to have a guy in her life (a friend who was an ex-boyfriend at one point), and he played guitar. Would always start off his riffs and flash, but never played a single song all the way through. I found him an entirely frustrating musician.

OP's secret reminds me of him, except with fanfiction.

I tried, but I'm finally done with this show. The best supporting characters are all gone: Camille, Fidel, Dwayne. Detective Mooney (#3) was boring but mildly charming, and now Detective Parker (#4) is just boring.
It feels like easy "social justice points," but I really think they should have gotten a black actor instead. Then, even if the character had a bland personality, they could have taken advantage of all the potential material on being black in the UK vs being black in the Caribbean.

Watching Wandavision made me desperately want a TV adaptation of Grant Morrison's Multiversity series.

Different styles for every episode? Check. Super continuity-wanky and geeky? Check. A great way to bring the multiverse concept out of comics and into the cinematic universe? Check.

The thing is, I know that DC wouldn't be willing to really commit to the concept, and going less weird with it would ruin the entire "storyline." So I guess I'll just have to have it as a really cool concept in my head.

Also, read Multiversity! It's one of my fav things Grant Morrison's ever written, and that's saying something. I'd put it on par with All-Star Superman.

How dare you! Ignis was the only bright light in what was kind of a depressing experience for me. I mean, I loved FFXV but it did take a toll emotionally.

Just kidding, you do you. I even sort of get you because I feel the same about Prompto, except that I merely dislike him. Which makes me believe that it might be related to a shipping issue.

And you have to agree that Ignis' (and Ardyn's, granted)DLC was the only one worth paying for.

Sherlock Holmes adaptations need to stop using Moriarty. He was a weak and unnecessary character in the books. The mysteries are better when there isn't some big conspiracy behind it all. Holmes is better when he doesn't have an arch enemy besides his own boredom. The only adaptation that did it well was Elementary (but that leads to a whole other spoiler-filled secret).

This is only partially relevant, but I feel similar about the original YGO (Season 0 and Duel Monsters). I watched it 2-3 years ago while my mom was suffering from cancer, and it was about the only thing that could keep me together.
