I owe someone a fanfic (not in a formal way, I just told her about it and now she's really looking forward to it), and I can't get myself to start writing. I set myself a deadline in the hopes it would help, but it didn't. It's not even that I don't want to write it, because I do. And I hate making her wait when she's so excited for it. But somehow all of that isn't enough to get me working. Any tips?

I re-watched The Amazing Spider-Man today and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. I liked it well enough when I first saw it, although I thought it was a bit superfluous, but this time there were so many more details and acting stuff that I caught and enjoyed

...also Andrew Garfield has big brown puppy-dog eyes and a fantastic butt
...and it's directed by a guy named WEBB it's destiny people

Black widow

I found a huge black widow at the park near my house. I managed to get one pic (my camera batteries kept dying).

I don't usually think about them here. I saw a small one and some webs when I was in California, but I didn't think I'd find a big one over here on the East coast.

In other news, I found twenty dollars on the ground last week and one dollar this week. I always find money on the ground in the fall (not that it's fall yet, whatever).

1. I rarely ship pairings that are canon or become canon.
2. I'm all for happily-ever afters for the pairings I ship. Even the oddest of odd couples get their happy end in my head.

Why then, when a couple I support does become canon, I get oddly fascinated by the thought of them breaking up (and never getting back together again)? It's not like I suddenly hate the couple, I love them just as much, I just want them to break up.
