The lack of skin freaks me out too much so I don't think I could ever watch this. And yet I find that little figurine oddly cute.

Find better series.

Hell, one of the things I love about anime is how many good series there are that are perfectly happy to stick to a thirteen episode run, and that's it - or at worst maybe two or three full seasons.

You compare that to American tv, and all the best shows seem to aim for a minimum of like five seasons.

Just stay away from the big three.

But it's really good! The cover image is lame because it's dated. The series came out over a decade ago. But Ewan is beautifully young and gorgeous and adorable in it. I loved it. It's not easy going all the way through, parts of the story are tragic. But I became kind of obsessed with it after I watched and even went on to read the book.
